The Friends of the Dedham Heritage Rail Trail group is hosting an informational event on January 24 from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m.

Agenda:

7:30 – 8:00 pm: Update on the current status of the project

8:00 – 8:30 pm: Interview with Joe Geller and Kim Philpot, two guests from Topsfield Massachusetts who will speak about their experience with the development of their trail. Ms. Philpot is an abutter to the “Topsfield Linear Common” and was against their trail before it went in. She will speak about the before and after of their trail project from an abutter perspective.

The Topsfield Trail also goes by a school and they will speak to how the trail was accommodated on the school grounds.

8:30 – 8:45 pm: Attendees are invited to hang around and ask questions of our guests.
