VACANCY—Building, Planning & Construction Committee
Pursuant to Section 6-3 of the Dedham Home Rule Charter, the Town Manager calls the attention of all residents and others to the fact the following vacancies exist.
Building, Planning & Construction Committee—Three members
Three year terms to expire 2021
One Vacancy (Construction); Two Vacancies (At-Large)
About the Building, Planning & Construction Committee (BPCC)
The BPCC consists of seven members appointed by the Town Manager; one member of the Planning Board, a registered professional engineer or architect, an attorney, a person employed in the construction industry and three other persons.
The roll of the BPCC is to survey the growth and building needs of the Town, examine the physical condition of all existing town buildings and determine the need for additions or renovations of existing buildings or for the construction of new buildings for the Town.
Generally, the BPCC meets once each month, usually beginning at 5:30 P.M. at the Dedham Town Hall.

How To Apply
Any person who desires to be considered for appointment for this position must respond between February 16th and February 26th; interested persons shall file with the Town Manager, his/her name and residential address, and a resume and/or statement which sets forth in clear and specific terms the qualifications he/she holds for the position.
