The Boston-based Boogaloo Swamis have been playing their unique blend of Cajun, zydeco and New Orleans influenced rhythm and blues for over 30 years. They have five albums and four Boston Music Awards to their credit.

The band is led by Mickey Bones on accordion, vocals, fiddle and rubboard, and features the wailing guitar and creole vocals of Joe Pete Wetherbee, the supersonic sounds of fiddler Joey Kessler plus the dynamic rhythm section of award winning drummer Ted Larkin and the superlative Steve Bigelow on bass and vocals.
