Dedham Knights of Columbus Council #234 Annual Tootsie Roll Drive to Benefit Children with Learning & Physical Disabilities.
Oct. 11-14th this Columbus Day weekend the Knights of Columbus in MA raise awareness and raise funds for children with learning and physical disabilities and have done so the for over 40 years!
One hundred percent of all funds collected go to the Massachusetts Knights Tootsie Roll Charities Fund. In addition, the Councils support the Special Olympics and Special Needs programs at many MA schools.
So the next time you see a Knight in a yellow vest asking for donations outside a grocery store, or at a stop light you receive a Tootsie Roll, remember it’s more than a “Tootsie Roll Drive.” It’s a chance to provide people with intellectual and physical disabilities more resources to live a happy life.
If you would like to make a tax deductible donation to this cause, you can mail it to: The Knights of Columbus #234, 363 Washington St., Dedham, MA 02026 and put in memo Tootsie Roll.
If you have any questions and students looking for community service hours please email Lindsay Barich, Deputy Grand Knight at lindsayb@uwinc.com.
