7:00 p.m.        Introductions of the Working Group members

7:10 p.m.        Organization of the Working Group – Selection of Chair and Vice-Chair Discussion and Vote

7:15 p.m.        Review the materials provided to Working Group members: the Dedham Square Planning Committee report; Open Meeting Law guidelines; Town Meeting Warrant Article; information from Town Counsel on RFP’s and RFQ’s; Select Board charge to the Group

7:25 p.m.        Discussion: Town Manager’s view of the support he asks from the Working Group.  Working Group’s comments on support needed from staff

7:40 p.m.        Public Comment

7:50 p.m.        Demolition of Existing Police Station – Town Manager will give update on plan. Representatives from Public Safety Building General Contractor and Owner’s Project Manager may attend

8:10 p.m.        Issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) for project design – Discussion with Engineering Director (Jason Mammone) and Town Counsel (K-P Law). Discussion and vote

8:30 p.m.        Traffic study: Discussion on the scope of study. Timing. Criteria for assessing options include congestion, throughput, parking and fiscal responsibility. Integrating traffic study with project designer

8:50 p.m.        Funding: Review the funding sources for the project

9:10 p.m.        Set meeting calendar for August and September

9:15 p.m.        Adjourn
