As a group specializing in the music of the past, The Arrow Quartet aims to discover the historical intersections between classical chamber music and music that was performed outside the concert hall, informing our view of the past, present, and future.
This March, The Arrow Quartet will be examining the relationship between patronage and artistic output through a program of music by Beethoven, Mozart, and Cruz.
Program:
- Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, Madre, la de los primores
- Mozart Quartet No.23 in F major, K590
- Beethoven String Quartet in C minor, Op.18 No.4
