Fairbanks Garden Club Plant Sale

  • Date: 05/13/2023 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Fairbanks Garden Club will be having their Annual Plant Sale at the historic Fairbanks House, 511 East St. in Dedham, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, RAIN OR SHINE!

They will have a wide variety of plants, including many perennials, native plants, pollinator plants, annuals, indoor plants, and locally grown herbs. Plants are mainly from local gardens of members and friends, so they are well suited to thrive in New England gardens. Excellent plants at excellent prices! Knowledgeable gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions and give you some suggestions. Just in time for Mother’s Day, there will also be a great gift table with unique decorative items handcrafted by the club's members. The Fairbanks Garden Club thanks Dedham Savings for its generous donation in support of our plant sale.

About the Fairbanks Garden Club

The Fairbanks Garden Club is dedicated to promoting horticultural education and to enhancing horticultural beauty in our community. The club maintains perennial borders at the historic Fairbanks House and volunteers at the Fairbanks Family in America reunions each summer.  The club designed and documented a colonial herb garden at the Fairbanks House for which it won an award from The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts. In addition to maintaining gardens at the Fairbanks House, the club meets monthly between September through May, maintains the plantings at two historical markers in Dedham, decorates and donates holiday wreaths for local institutions, and holds an annual plant sale. New members are welcome. Learn more at http://www.fairbanksgarden.club/
