Notice of Appeal Hearing

On 04/27/23, the Select Board of the Town of Dedham voted in accordance with the Town of Dedham General By-Laws Section 265-1 of the Town Code, to adopt the following new traffic regulations:

  • Amend Part 1, Schedule No. I of the Traffic Regulations to eliminate the existing “No Parking” parking restriction on both sides of Union Place from Bryant Street to 107 feet southerly of Bryant Street and adopt a “No Parking Any Time Both Sides” parking restriction on both sides of Union Place from Bryant Street to Providence Highway.
  • Amend Part 1, Schedule No. III of the Traffic Regulations to eliminate the existing one-way restriction on Union Place in its entirety.
  • Amend Part 1, Schedule No. XI of the Traffic Regulations to adopt a “Do Not Enter” restriction onto Union Place from Providence Highway

On May 25, 2023, the Town Clerk’s office received a petition appealing the proposed traffic regulations on Union Place. As required the signatures were certified and presented to the Town Manager’s office to schedule an appeal hearing with the Select Board. A public hearing on the appeal has been scheduled for Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. Said hearing will be held in the O’Brien Meeting Room, Dedham Town Hall, 450 Washington Street, Dedham, MA.
