Dedham-Westwood Water District to Host a Virtual Public Meeting on Thursday, November 14, for the East Street Water Main Replacement Project in Dedham

Dedham, MA – The Dedham-Westwood Water District will host a virtual public pre-construction meeting via Zoom on Thursday, November 14, at 6:30 p.m., in preparation for the first phase of water main replacement on East Street in Dedham.

The work limits for the project’s first phase include East Street from Greenwood Avenue to Norwich Street. Work consists of replacing the existing underground water main and upgrading fire hydrants, valves, and associated appurtenances.

Construction is slated to begin mid-November and will be conducted Monday through Friday, tentatively from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The entire project is expected to be completed by the Fall of 2025.

“We understand that construction can have an impact on your daily routines and want to inform abutters and the public about the water main work that is slated to occur, its anticipated impacts, and how to stay apprised throughout the duration of the project,” said Executive Director Blake Lukis.
