WHAT TO EXPECT ON ELECTION DAY, NOVEMBER 5 AND TIPS TO BE PREPARED 

As we approach Election Day on Tuesday November 5, it is essential to be prepared for the possibility of large crowds and extended wait times at polling locations and in nearby parking lots. We encourage all voters to exercise patience as fellow citizens come out to cast their ballots. This will help to ensure a smooth and efficient voting process for everyone involved.

Verify You Are Registered to Vote

While the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming election has passed, you can check your status online at www.sec.state.ma.us/voterregistrationsearch/ from your computer or mobile device. You will be asked to enter your full name, date of birth, and zip code, and the online tool is available in multiple languages.

Confirm Your Polling Location

Plan for Extra Time, Just In Case

The polls are open in Dedham from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM at all polling locations, and we kindly ask that everyone allow for extra time as there may be longer lines and wait times. Additionally, please use caution when accessing polling parking areas throughout the day as people will be entering and exiting until polls close.
