Riverside offers both crisis and outpatient support to members of the Dedham community. The Community Behavioral Health Center provides assessments, group therapy, individual therapy, and psychiatry appointment. The outpatient clinic is located in Norwood but they also provide telehealth options. Their crisis team provides services to under 21and they travel to homes, schools or other locations with the goal of avoiding hospitalization for a mental health crisis. Crisis services are free regardless of insurance and to access them, individuals can call 800-529-5077.

Samaritans is dedicated to preventing suicide and supporting those who are affected by it. Services include a 24/7 help line, peer to peer support, and grief support. All services are free and confidential. Their peer to peer texting service is Hey Sam and it is for young people up to age 24 struggling with feeling lonely, depressed, overwhelmed, or having thoughts of suicide.
