The Design Review Advisory Board (DRAB) provides information, recommendations, and professional design review of proposed buildings and signage to:

  • Maintain and improve the overall character and appearance of the Town,
  • Encourage the reduction of visual clutter, and
  • Work with other agencies, boards, and interest groups to improve the quality of life in Dedham.  

Members

The Design Review Advisory Board has five members who are appointed to 3-year terms. Members must be design professionals with backgrounds in architecture, landscape, graphic design, or development. Current members include:

Meeting Schedule

The Design Review Advisory Board normally meets virtually on the first Wednesday of each month. To present a project before DRAB, all application materials must be submitted to the Planning & Zoning Department ahead of time.

Public meeting dates, times, and locations are posted at Town Hall and the Dedham Public Library at least 48 hours before each meeting in compliance with the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law. Meeting agendas will also be posted on the Town Calendar page.
