Dedham's Historic Districts can be viewed on an interactive map. To view properties located within historic districts:

1. Open the GIS Property Viewer.
   
   
2. Click the Layers icon on the top menu bar.
   
   
3. Select the checkbox for Historic Districts, as shown at right.
   
   
4. Then select the adjacent drop-down arrow and click Zoom to.
   
   
5. The map should display the three districts with distinct borders and shading. (It may take several seconds for the districts to load.)
   
   
6. Zoom in to individual properties by double-clicking on the map, using your mouse wheel, or clicking the + icon at the top left of the map.
