The Planning Board studies and plans for the needs of the Town in relation to land uses and zoning for current and future real estate development, as defined by the Town Charter Section 3-9, and Town Bylaws.

Members

The Planning Board has five members who are elected to 5-year terms, with an equal number of terms expiring each year as is feasible. Town elections are held annually on the second Saturday of April.

Meeting Schedule

The Planning Board holds public meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, unless otherwise posted. Additional meetings are scheduled as needed. Public meeting dates and times are posted at Town Hall and the Dedham Public Library at least 48 hours before each meeting in compliance with the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law. Meeting agendas will also be posted on the Town Calendar page.
