The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) is reports to the Select Board and is responsible for reviewing Traffic Calming Request Forms to determine if they are eligible for potential traffic calming measures as based upon the requirement set forth in the adopted Traffic Calming Policy. The Committee was established in 2012 by the Select Board.

Projects endorsed by the TAC each year will be prioritized and presented to the Select Board for approval. If approved by the Select Board, the Engineering Department will submit a formal request to the Town’s Capital Expenditure Committee (CEC) for funding of the design and/or construction of the recommended projects based upon the TAC’s priority list.

Members

The Committee consists of 4 ex-officio members who provide professional insight and coordination for the voting members: the Chief of Police, the Director Engineering,  the Director of Public Works, and member of the Select Board. The voting members include a member of the Planning Board, a member of the Select Board, and three appointees of the Town Manager. Current members include:
