Upcoming Roadwork: Dwight, Spruce, and Willow

Upcoming Roadwork Starting Thursday, October 31

The Town of Dedham's contractor, Lorusso Corporation, will begin milling Dwight Street and working on Dwight Street, Spruce Street, and Willow Street on Thursday, October 31st.  The road limits have been painted and include all of Dwight Street, a portion of Spruce Street from Dwight Street to Willow Street around the corner to the gas company tie in.  Please note: all of Willow Street will not be paved at this time.

The upcoming milling work is estimated to take 2 to 3 days to complete and work hours are from 7:00AM to 5:00PM. All work will end by 2:00PM on Halloween (October 31) and no other roadwork activities will take place after 2:00PM that day. Future paving will take approximately 1 day to complete, followed by sidewalk work that is expected to take 3 to 4 days. A final paving schedule will be posted when confirmed.

All work is weather-dependent, so schedules may be adjusted accordingly.

Anticipated Impacts
  • Vehicles access will be delayed on these roads during the construction times.
  • After milling, crews will be onsite to adjust the structures and utility boxes within the roadway, so please watch for raised structures.
  • Road surface will be uneven until paved. Please drive slowly.
