NC-8

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Dedham Board of Health!

The Board of Health is seeking medical and non-medical volunteers to assist with vaccination clinics.

The Town of Dedham is a member of the Norfolk County 8 (NC-8) Medical Reserve Corps. NC-8 is comprised of medical and non-medical volunteers who are committed to building strong, healthy, and prepared communities.

Volunteers must be registered with MA Responds. Registration takes about 10-15 minutes. For more information and to register, please visit MA Responds here.

About MA Responds

MA Responds is a confidential, statewide database that offers a standardized application process, as well as additional volunteer opportunities outside of Dedham. Once a volunteer is enrolled in MA Responds, they will have the option to choose to be notified about an activation at the local or statewide level, or both.

Although MA Responds will now be our database, we retain full control of NC-8 volunteers and will continue to work directly with you. Volunteers who do not enroll in MA Responds by March 30, 2021 will no longer be eligible for activation or deployment as part of the NC-8 MRC.

To volunteer to administer COVID-19 vaccine  you must complete the online training and send a copy of your CE to Public Health Nurse Jessica Tracy at jetracy@dedham-ma.gov.

Click this link for the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine course. To obtain the CE, please follow the 9 Simple Steps and follow the prompt in this link.

We hope you continue to be a part of the Dedham & NC-8 MRC as we value the skillsets each volunteer brings to our community!
