The Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) reports there is expected to be higher costs for energy during the Winter of 2022-2023 due to higher-than-average commodity prices, consumption, and projected colder temperatures.

The Town of Dedham encourages residents to reach out to their heating and energy providers with any questions or concerns. Eversource customers that need to learn more about Eversource’s extended payment plan, please contact Eversource at 800-286-2828 (electric) or 800-438-2278 (gas). Customers can also visit Eversource’s website for energy saving tips.

Additionally, Dedham residents are eligible to apply for a wide range of support for families and households including fuel and energy assistance through Self Help Inc. To apply, please call 508-588-5440 or email at fuelassistance@selfhelpinc.org.
